Advantages of the high-oleic sunflower oil in comparison with the traditional (linoleic) sunflower oil: 

  • The seeds of the high-oleic sunflower are received by the selection method and not by the genetic modification;
  • The high-oleic sunflower oil is rich in oleic (monounsaturated) acid (content from 75% to 85%). Oils with the highest content of monounsaturated fats (oleic acid, commonly known as OMEGA 9) and a smaller part of saturated fats are absorbed faster and considered to be the most healthful;
  • Contains less than 10% of saturated fats;
  • Does not contain trans-isomers;
  • Very similar to the olive oil by its composition and properties;
  • High-oleic oil is of high viscosity that is preserved by heating (conditions of less absorption in the product);
  • Our high-oleic oil has an increased resistance to oxidation;
  • Due to the high content of the oleic acid the high-oleic oil produced by "AVIS" has high thermo stable properties (withstands thermal influence longer than the conventional oil);
  • Vitamin E, naturally found in High-oleic sunflower oil, is destructed less during intensive frying than in conventional sunflower oil due to the increased viscosity of the product;The high-oleic sunflower oil is a healthy alternative to conventional sunflower oil in food industry and daily nutrition;
  • Widely used in the food industry in Europe and the United States for more than 10 years.


The high-oleic sunflower oil provides a balanced content of omega-3, omega-6, omega-9, natural antioxidants and recommended by the World Health Organization as a product of health diet.
